DISPLAY CONTRAST
The unit's
display
contrast is ad-
lustable
to suit different
lighting
conditions. To
adjust
it,
first
press
the menu
key
five times. The
menu
shown
aboveappears.
Now
press
the
key adjacent
to the "AD-
JUST DISPLAY CONTRAST", The
display
contrast
arrows
appear
on
the left side of
the screen. To
increase the
contrast,
press
the
key adjacent
to the
up
arrow. To
decrease
it, press
the
key
next to
the down arrow. Press the Clear
key
to erase the
menu,
or wait
ap-
proximately
ten seconds and
they'll
automatically
clear.

The UltraNav saves all
settings
such as
sensitivity,
chart
speed,
display
contrast,
and more in
battery backed-up memory.
This mem-
ory
is retained even if
power
is disconnected from the unit. If
you
need
to return the sonar
settings
to the
factory defaults,
first
press
the
MENU
key
while a sonar screen is
displayed
five times. The screen at
the
top
of this
page appears.
Now
press
the
key adjacent
to the
"PRESET SONAR" label. The unit will
reset,
return to a sonar screen
with all of the
original factory settings.
NOTE: Preset does not affect the loran
operation,
nor does it erase
any
loran
settings, waypoints,
or routes.
